After much thought and a whole lot of requests, here is the first recipe from the newly added “Recipes” section of my blog. First thing I need all my dear readers to understand is that I am no chef and what you see here in this category of my blog will be creations conjured purely out of my laziness. I have started enjoying cooking only recently but one thing I can assure you is that there is always a tasty replacement for the stuff in here that you may not find in your pantry.
I will try and upload my recipes here as and when time permits. For my first post, one of my go to dinner salads or salad 101.
1 Cup Baby Spinach
1 Cup Arugula (Or Moringa Leaves)
5-6 Cherry Tomatoes
1 Cup Chopped Rotisserie/Grilled Chicken (Store Bought) ||Fried Tofu Cubes
4 Green Olives
2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Basil
1 Teaspoon Broth (From The Rotisserie Chicken)
Throw in all the ingredients and the dressing together in a salad bowl, cover the bowl with a plate and give it a nice shake like you do to the popcorn at the movie theater. That’s it! I warned you I am a lazy chef. I love fresh bread and so had it with some fresh and toasty French wheat baguette you can swap this with crackers or a simple toast of wheat bread.
